Ingredients
1 prepared pastry crust (9 to 10 inch)
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 cup light corn syrup
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
6 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
3 tablespoons cocoa
1 cup maraschino cherries, cut in halves
1 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
Melt butter and blend in the cocoa, until smooth. Add
remaining ingredients except the cherries and pecans,
and blend well. Add the cherries and pecans and stir well.
Pour into pie crust and bake at 350 degrees for 45 to
55 minutes or until pie is set.
Cool and serve with whipped cream, if desired.
